Medic Interface Maroc arranges medical stays in Morocco for patients travelling from abroad. To do that, we receive your contact details and, if you choose to share them, details about your health. This page says which ones, what we do with them, who can see them, and what you can ask us for.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Medic Interface Maroc, 12 boulevard d’Anfa, Casablanca, Morocco.

What we collect

Nothing beyond what you type into one of the forms on this site.

Contact form

Your name, your email address, the subject and the text of your message.

Appointment request

Your name, your email address, your phone number, your country, the speciality concerned and your message.

“Your case assessment” questionnaire

Your identity and contact details, your country of residence, your nationality, what you expect from us, whatever you choose to tell us about your health (condition, existing diagnosis, treatment or surgery you have had), the documents you attach, and what you need for the trip.

What you tell us about your health, and the documents you attach, are health data. We only process them with your agreement, the one you give by ticking the box at the end of the questionnaire, and only to review your request.

Access to your file

To view your file from this site, you enter your name and your identity document number. They are used to check the file is yours. The site does not keep them.

Technical data

Like any site, our server notes the IP address and the time of requests. These logs are there to spot abuse. We do not use them to identify you.

What we do with it

Answer your message or your appointment request.
Review your file, point you to the right specialist and, where possible, price your treatment.
Arrange your stay if you ask us to: flight, visa, transfer, accommodation, transport, support on site.
Follow up on your care and contact you through the channel you chose.
Protect the site from automated submissions.

Your data serves no advertising. We sell it to no one.

On what condition we process it

Your health data and medical documents are processed only if you agree to it. You give that agreement by ticking the box at the end of the questionnaire, and you can withdraw it whenever you want.

The rest, contact and appointments, is processed to answer the request you made to us.

Withdrawing your agreement does not undo what came before. But we stop there, and we delete your medical data.

Who can see it

The Medic Interface Maroc team reviewing your request.
The doctors and care facilities concerned by your file, and them only.
Our medical management application, which hosts patient files. Your request reaches it over an encrypted, signed connection.
The providers needed for your stay (airline, hotel, transport company), and nothing beyond what they need.

No one else. None of your medical data goes to a third party for commercial purposes.

How long we keep it

The documents you attach to the questionnaire leave the site as soon as they reach our medical management application. The public site keeps no copy.
Your request stays in your patient file for as long as your care and its medical follow-up require.
Contact messages and appointment requests stay long enough to answer them and follow the exchange.
Technical server logs are erased after a few weeks.

How we protect it

The whole site runs over HTTPS: what you type is encrypted between your browser and our server.
Your medical documents sit outside the public part of the server, under a randomly drawn name. No address leads to them.
The transfer to our management application is signed: a forged request, or one replayed a second time, is rejected.
Only the people who need to reach a file can reach it, and every consultation leaves a trace.

No system is infallible. If an incident touched your data, we would tell you, and we would tell the competent authority.

What you can ask us for

At any time:

to tell you what data we hold about you;
to correct what is wrong or incomplete;
to delete it, within the limits that keeping a medical file imposes on us;
to withdraw the agreement you gave for your health data;
to object to a processing operation, or to limit its scope;
to hand you your data in a reusable format.

Write to contact@medicinterfacemaroc.com and say what you want. We answer within a month. We may ask you to prove who you are: it is the only way not to hand your file to someone else.

If our answer does not suit you, you can refer the matter to the CNDP, the Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel, the Moroccan authority competent under Law 09-08.

If you live in the European Union, you also hold the rights set out in the GDPR, and you can refer the matter to your country’s data protection authority.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies it needs to work: your session, the language you chose, and protection of the forms against automated submissions.

A banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. Refusing does not stop you from using the site.

If this page changes

It will change if the way we handle data changes. The update date is at the top. If a change touches your health data, we will tell you directly, rather than wait for you to come back and read this page.
