Infertility Treatment

The stages of Medically Assisted Reproduction (MAR)

  1. Initial consultation: This involves assessing the couple's medical situation and their ability to conceive (age). An assessment is conducted to determine the cause of infertility.
  2. Choice of assisted reproduction technique: depends on the results of the assessment: artificial insemination (AI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), or others.
  3. Preparation for treatment: depending on the technique chosen, hormonal injections are administered to stimulate the ovaries.
  4. Ovarian puncture: mature eggs are collected vaginally during a procedure performed under anesthesia.
  5. Fertilization: the eggs are fertilized in the laboratory to obtain one or two embryos.
  6. Embryo implantation into the uterus of the requesting woman.
  7. Pregnancy monitoring: a positive pregnancy test two weeks later indicates the success of the attempt. The pregnancy becomes precious and will be monitored carefully and closely.

In these very trying attempts, psychological support can be beneficial throughout the pregnancy. Specialized centers chosen for you based on their accreditations, expertise and reputation allow you to attempt the pregnancy you desire with the maximum chance of success.
